I've got a small coolant leak somewhere in the engine bay. I'm not losing much fluid from the radiator at all, but I am seeing the white residue all over the engine bay, so there definitely is one and it's getting flung all over. I've changed the thermostat gasket as well as the heater take off valve and gasket, but still have an issue. Any tips on isolating where the problem is as opposed to just changing things?

Just a thought, but if "it's getting flung all over", I'd check the water pump seal, first.

You aren’t over filling the rad are you? About 1” above the gills is where it should be.

I think that there are florescent dye kits for coolant that could be helpful..  I've used them to detect oil leaks.

buy a pressure test kit, cheap enough off net. then you can pressure system without running engine. if getting all over most likely leaking from tell tale on bottom of water pump but hard to see this with engine running and fan spinning.
