Alternator Upgrade?

so giving the mini a revamp

 

and am going to install more tech (led lights, android head unit, hopefully digital dash few more things)

 

do you think an upgrade alternator would be needed?

No, LEDs use a lot less power than traditional bulbs.

I’d still do the alternator update, more efficient especially at low rpm, lighter too. That does require removing or at least bypassing and doing some minor rewiring of the external regulator.

what’s your current amp rating? even with led headlight, taillights (I know, mines a daily), with heater on, wipers, decent sound system, efi, you really want atleast 65a.
