I want to switch from a mechanical fuel pump to an electric fuel pump on my 1275 with an HIF44 carb. I see that there are several brands and options available regarding fuel pressure. What pressure should I be looking for and are there any particular pumps that are recommended? I prefer to not use a regulator if possible. Thanks for your help.

Facet solid state pump, doesn't need to do above 3-4 psi. Does need to be mounted below & near the tank.

I use an ECCO pump on 2 of my Minis. Located in the rear subframe with a hidden switch in the cab to isolate the pump if necessary.

Mini Spares sell the Hardi electric fuel pump that is very good and reasonably priced. I use one and have had good luck with it.
Do you need to use a regulator with it?

Nope. I use it with a HIF44 on a 1360 without issue.
