My new door cards have arrived from Newton commercial.  At what point do I fit the drain pipes.  Before or after fitting cards as I see at the bottom the card sits between panel and drain but not sure about the top.  First time I have done this so need guidance.  Thank you

fit the drain pipes (and the door locks) before the door cards

the tops of the door cards are held in place by the two fillet pieces at each side

i found it easiest to bias the door card toward the rear of the door when inserting, and slide them forward when they're in.  also worth propping the door from below with a couple of blocks of wood to stop it shifting on the hinges whilst wrestling the door cards/drain pipes etc into place

Thank you.  I have a long handle on the inside near to the door lock.  With this in situ it gets in the way of door card. Do i fit the lock and outside handle then fit door card and then undo handle to slide long handle onto the shaft.  More guidance needed thank you.

I personally removed the door latch and handle (also running the long handle), fitted the door cards and then refitted latch assembly. It needs all three pieces to be loose and assembled together then screw outer handle on, then inner latch.

If you follow Newton Commercials instructions it gives you a good idea on how to fit the cards too, its not hugely difficult but a bit fiddly.

Apologies, I meant fit the escutcheons to the doors first. As above, take the handles out to get the internal levers out of the way and then refit after. Passenger door handle should pull straight out, drivers side needs a quarter turn of the key to release it

All fitted and look good.  Thank you for input .  Whilst here where can I get the vinyl trim that goes round the rear windows and rear doors on an estate.  Have tried Newton but on;ly sell in a kit.   Appreciate guidance   thank you
