And very few Mini designers left in original form, here is one.

It would be nice to see pictures of others.

I have to say RIP i had an association with a Quant back in the day and it was a learning experience restoring it but having checked online it has unfortunatly not made it.

Can you remember the Reg No. I will look it up and see if it is still on the road.

They were all F Reg except for 4 I think that were E Reg as they were used for press releases and marketing before full production of the Limited Editions in Black and White began. I do not know if the E Reg ones were all Black or both colours as I have only seen a Black one and that was in 1999 at the London to Brighton.

I have just answered my own query if you look closely you can see the White one in the picture above is an E Reg. It is E 477 L J _  . I cannot make out the last letter. It cannot be D as that complete Reg No is for an Austin Mini Red Hot, its MOT expired  May 2016. If it is a B or C or G or O then there is no record of the car.

Doesn’t look like it survived.  It was starting to rust when I sold it in early 90s.  Was F999WSJ.   Seems to have been painted also before its demise.

As you say it would appear it did not last very long, which is a shame.
