Hi everyone , I’m looking at fitting some fibreglass arches to my mini , the wheels I’ve got on it are a little too wide so rub at the front, I looked at these arches but wasn’t 100% sure because the description says “ The flares attach by screws to the same body lip as the plastic chrome moulding sits on.“ would I be able to put these onto my 1275gt if I was cutting the wings to make the clearance needed ?
I will be welding on a new bit once I’ve cut enough off because I know it keeps the wing rigid.

WHEEL ARCH SET 2.25" WIDE PROFILE SUPERFIT

I have fitted W&P style arches when cutting the front arch edges to gain clearance for both 6x10" and earlier for 6x13" wheels on full steering lock. I folded up a new flange after cutting away part of the wing (allowing the extra metal for the new folded up flange area). There is a certain amount of flex in the W&P front arches but go for the minimum needed or the arch main profile may distort too far and not sit flush to the wing. It is really a case of trial and error....
