Looking to supercharge my mini engine, already at 1310cc and have been told that due to the wear would ideally need to go to 1330cc +60.

Was hoping to get some 18cc forged omega pistons but they MED do not currently sell in this size. I therefore need to find other methods to gain the extra ccs needed to achieve the compression I'm looking for without using a decompression plate. Can anyone advise on how much I might be able to take from the head chambers, have a 12g940 head. thickest head gasket on the market, any other pistons that match the quality that would do the job?

Thanks

I'd look for another block, ideally one that only needs a +10 rebore, or what ever the minimum oversize low compression pistons you can get.

Heads can be taken put to 28cc reliably, also most pistons will stand the dish being enlarged.

28cc in the head, with a std gasket, 6.5cc dish pistons and the pistons pretty much flush will get you 9.5 - 9.6:1 which is doable for a turbo motor on not crazy boost. ( is this supercharged or turbo'd?)

If you're sticking with 1310, a light hone would still keep it in tolerance, but check how round the bores are for any wear.
I've gone from 1310 casts to forged, but the 18cc dishes are too much.. despite giving MED and omega plenty of feedback. Gone for a set of custom JE forged pistons which will take it to 1312cc after a 4 thou hone.

Its for a supercharged engine am hoping to run meth/water injection in order to keep charge temps down to run a bit more boost reliably which i have heard will allow me to have a higher compression anyway. Maybe a fresh 1275 block to start again is the best option
