Hi,

 

I have succesfully bought and recieved my USB diagnostics cable with FTDI chip. 

I have downloaded MEMSfcr and driver for USB cable as instructed. And yes, restartet the computer.

But still it wont connect.

 

My cable/usb port shows as COM4 in the MEMSfcr software. I double checked that the port settings is as recommended as well.

 

I tried writing the programmer Andrew Jackson directly, but no answers so far. I assume he/you are here on TMF as well.

 

Is there any other settings or troubleshooting that i should look into? Or alternatively, other software/programmes i can use to set the stepper motor (Which is the job i need done).

Hi Jonas,

 

Have you tried connecting with https://web.memsfcr.co.uk ? You will need to use Chrome browser.

This will help eliminate any local application issues.

 

if you are still having issues dm me and I’ll can walk you through getting some debug logs that should help diagnose the problem.

 

Suffice to say, Windows can be tricky with FTDI drivers. I had to completely remove mine and clean install with a restart in between before it all started behaving itself.
