Just managed to view the cable with that socket ...

Just get a two wires of the length you need (1 red, 1 black), 16 or 18 gauge will do, two male spade terminals and two female terminals and voila! An extenstion cable.

Or just by two LONGER pieces of red&black cables and two female spades and two ring connectors and make one just link in the pic.

I prefer uninsulated terminals with separate insulating covers. They tend to stay on longer and look nicer.

Wiring isn't rocket science.

I hardly dare say it but what you are asking is so basic one has to ask if you should be doing it.I know we all have to start at sometime but poor wiring can set your car on fire and it may not do it straight away.Be careful.Steve..

just get some red and black 0.8mm (20AWG) PVC cable, cut a bit off the existing wires, do a telegraphers twist and solder it. Then seal it with heat shrink.

no need to waste time finding new crimp on connectors

To be honest this is such a basic job, if you don't know what to do without asking on this forum I seriously question whether you should be messing round with the electrics on your own. Perhaps ask a friend or a mechanic to do it for you instead?
