Does anyone know if a Metro rear arm repair reamer, the tool that reams out the arm to allow it to be sleeved back to standard if the arm is damaged, is any use to refurbish the classic Mini rear arms.

The frame size can be modified to suit the Mini arm it is more a case of is the reamer diameter dimensions.

Doed anyone have any experience of these tools ?.

Not really as the Metro uses different sized Needle bearing in both ends when compared to the Mini.

I could well be wrong here as it's been a very very long time since I was in there, but I have a MKI Metro, I seem to think that took the same bearings as the Mini and maybe even the same shaft. The Inboard bearings on mine were pretty much destroyed when I got it due to neglect. I had them bored and sleaved to bring them back good as new.
