I think the only difference between the an A+ DAM5626 gearbox and the Metro Turbo gearbox (apart from the ratios) is a larger idler bearing.

Can a Metro Turbo gearbox be identified from an A+ gearbox by external casing markings?

The larger idler bearing is common on the later boxes.

the turbo transfer case used a larger input gear bearing.

3.2 final drive. Possibly identifiable by speedo drive gear???

As Nick says the nose bearing on the 1st motion shaft is bigger, 43 vs 35 mm OD
