Hey,

Feel like I’m never off this forum.. as soon as something is fixed something else goes wrong lol

I’m now getting a clunking noise when accelerating and sounds like a loose bolt somewhere behind drivers side dash.

Checked behind dash and only loose bit was the flasher unit but I’ve secured that and noise still happening. I also read it could be engine steady but that all look ok and secure.

I did however see that the leaver which runs into the brake servo was a bit clunky but not sure if this is normal. I took a video but can’t upload on here as file too big. The cylinder that my finger is pointing too in the image clunks from left to right. I wanted to know if this is normal or needs replaced ?

There's usually an engine steady bar in the area in your photo. If the rubber bushes are worn or perished, this allows the engine to "rock" backwards and forwards as you accelerate then decelerate. Might be worth checking these either end of the steady arm, and also make sure the bolts and nuts are tight!

Cheers, Steve.
