Morning all,

Is there a 'Mainstream Specific' work/ service manual available for these coopers?

My project car had been partially dismantled and the wiring was a birds nest of add on's and bodges etc.

So purchased a new loom, however there are plenty of wires and plugs left over, and the major problem, I'm getting no power to the starter motor, only to one side of the starter relay.

None of the standard available wiring looms really tally up to what I've got in the bay, just wondering if there's anything more specific out there? Or any detailed pictures of engine bays etc?

Thanks in advance!

Have a look in the wiring diagrams section. They are all there.

I used the ‘wiring diagram 18 - 1988-on carburettor models’ for ours.

Let me know if you want a copy or some photos from the engine bay

Thanks

I have a mainstream Cooper, and have never found a wiring diagram that matches the car!

Fortunately, they are very simple,so nothing has been too hard to trace!

What wiring loom did you buy?

What do you need to know? If you put up a list of problems, we might be able to help you out!
