Hello,

I’ve recently imported my mini into the UK and I am trying to get it registered. For the life of me I cannot find the CO2/km rating for a 1990 mono city. The DVLA weren’t much help in trying to figure it out either so I’m hoping you all may know.

Cheers all,

Luke

There isn't one, I was told on here that Rover never released it, as manufacturers didn't need to back then. I was also looking for it for my 1990 Cooper, for the ULEZ, but as Rover doesn’t exist there’s no one to ask, so you won’t find it.

I believe your car will be registered on the same band as all other classic cars of that period, currently £200 per year, up to 1549cc:

I had a long run in with the DVLA, and if you are using the V55/5 for your first time registration of a used motor vehicle, I found there are only a few sections that need to be completed and for me, registering a 1979 vehicle, the emissions part was not required, questions 36 to 39.

I only filled in the following sections 2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10,18,27,30,31,32,33,34,46,47,63,64,65 and 66. this led to an age related plate being issued.

Not sure if your application is similar to mine but I hope this might help.

Thank you both for your responses, I am filling out a V55/5 and will check what you’ve had to fill out Vs mine.
When it says cars registered before 2001, does that mean manufactured or actually registered on the road here in the UK?

Cheers both!

When it’s manufactured, unless it’s brand new and never been driven, which I’m guessing in your case doesn’t apply.
