Su Hs4 Choke Setup

Best Answer Steam , 30 August 2023 - 03:59 AM

With the choke completely OFF screw the fast idle screw towards its cam until it just touches but not actually operating. Then check that as soon as you pull the choke the cam starts to move.
If the jet is till operating first then you have other issues with the linkage. Go to the full post

Hi all sorry for what possibly is the next dumb question, but I think I’ve got my 998 auto mini running pretty well when warmed up but the issue now is when cold - can someone please give me some step by step instructions for making sure the choke is set up correctly.
Currently it seems that when the choke is pulled out slowly the jet assembly starts to lower and then the high idle screw is moved by the choke cam - is this correct? In my head I had it that it should be the other way round? If so how to I set it up correctly please.
Thanks in advance!
