[Pippin-the-peridot-mini]

Hi,

Followed the older Haynes manual, took all four nuts off and tried to slide it off but it just wiggles not actual progressive movement.

Any tips?

Is there a bracket behind the ashtray?Steve..

I found that the studs were too long to wiggle the bar off so I cut the studs down a little.

You need to lift and rotate it towards the rear of the car slightly to clear the bottom the the windscreen surround and allow the studs a straighter path out.
