I just heard that my friend and ace Mini driver Will Sparrow has died.
Many will know that Will rallied Minis for many years with great success. He won the Welsh International in a Mini when up against far more modern cars. He did all his own engineering and development.
Cars are Car Conversions magazine sponsored him for a long time.
As a friend and fellow competitor he was a great person. Always ready to help others and give preparation advice.
RIP Will.

Sad, but none of us live forever.
He came from an age of 'skill and fun' rallying, often funded on what the wife didn't spend on groceries.
