After owing my Mini since 2001 I'm afraid it's time to say good bye. I've always done any work on it myself - body wise and mechanical, but now in my 70s I don't relish the idea of grovelling on the floor anymore. It is going to a good home who have had Mini's in the past so I'm sure it will be well looked after.

I would like to that the forum for all the help it has given me when 'little' problems have arisen.

Cheers to you all and best wishes

Peter

I to am struggling to get some jobs done on the mini being the same age but I couldn't give up getting the big smile I get every time I get in my car ! I can fully understand what you are saying though it does seem very hard work sometimes with old bones and muscles complaining !! I am sure it won't be goodbye Peter you are still a mind of information that would be helpful to many others on this forum , you don't have to own a mini to be a enthusiasts, keep in touch with the forum ( I'm sure you will ) good luck with whatever you do ,

I'm 75 and look upon my minis as my challenging hobby. Just took the engine out of my 66 SDL to sort a problem out. I know Cooperman is a couple of years older than me but he's still building and mending.

If you're physically able then carry on.

I think Steve Harris is of similar age and he's just moved his business to new premises.

My friend is coming up to 70 and still hill climbing a mini.
