Hi all,

To me this should have been the quickest job in the world but I think I'm missing something obvious. I can't seem to get a snug fix with the surrounds so would love to know how others did it? Did you pop the actual indicator light out to fix it?

When I try to manoeuvre into place as is, it snaps on the top ridge of the indicator shell and the retaining tab, when bent up underneath into the gap (first one snapped off so had to buy a second) doesn't seem to catch on anything and therefore, it has too much movement around the indicator and feels loose. Maybe my indicator size isn't standard on a Studio 2?

Manual on mini spares shows a different square surround than the one you purchase but it does show popping the lamp out so maybe that's where I'm going wrong?

Pic of the indicator in question attached.

Would love to hear from others. Thanks!

I'd have popped the indicator out as it's not difficult to do.

It would have also been an opportunity to inspect and clean round the area and inspect clean the back of the lamp at the same time.
