Hey guys, I'm replacing the roof lining as part of my restomod, and all the instructions and videos I can see regarding replacement of the roof lining have the C-pillars covered separately, with the lining glued onto a cardboard template of sorts. Problem is, my '72 clubman has the C-pillars portion sewn onto the main roof lining. I cannot find any info on whether this was standard or not? While there appears to be glue on the back of the C-pillar sections I cannot recall if there were cardboards in place when I took it off a few months back.Would the cardboards for these C-pillars be the same as the regular one that is separate form the main roof lining?

I've not seen it before. Had similar age Minis, c pillars were separate cards. It'd take lots of skill to make your own though, especially without something as a pattern.

Where in the world are you - if not in the UK it may be that the roof lining were made locally and slightly differently.

Yeah good point. I'm in Centurion, South Africa.

Is a pattern available for these C-pillar cards? I've made a new lining with some sewing, I'd prefer to use cards fort the C-pillars.
