Evening all,
First time owner, picked up over the weekend and drove down to Essex from Warwickshire.
So far, fixed fuel gauge and figured the headlight issue was just from a bad connection on the switch.
After running sweet as a nut the whole way back and a couple of quick trips out per the social calendar, i've got a slight issue with bogging down under load or at low revs. Radio (kenwood halfords special) has started rebooting regularly during, so electrical issue. Any help appreciated.

Hi ,welcome to TMF ,I would start with checking then double checking all the earth connections on the car, then work your way through all the ignition wiring wiring connections, contact breakers ( points ) if you have them ,dizzy cap , if you have electronic ignition check the wiring between the distributor and the coil to make sure the connections are good and be careful not to get the connections wrong because it will blow the electronic ignition module ! !

Thanks Allan,
Earth or just a bad battery if its not been trickle charged in storage was my best bet, got imperial tools ordered, will check existing earth strap and probably fit a second. I'll get it on a trickle charger and see, alternator looks far too new to be the problem to my clueless eye
