I have a 96 cooper 1275 engine, sat in its subframe.
Engine has the dizzy, alternator, fan, ht leads etc attached. Pulled out of the car a few months ago, turns over freely but hasn't run in many years. I do have a video of the engine spinning freely and can email it, video is too large to upload
Subframe is in fair condition surface rust, nothing nasty but does come with all the suspension components.
The wheels won't be included in the sale, just being used for the subframe to sit on.

I'd like somewhere in the region of £800 but I'm open to offers.

they are only worth what someone is willing to pay, someone was looking for a 1275 and offered them a good mg metro one with good compression but no ancillaries for £300 they said how much huffed and didn't buy!!

And some people still think a Mini is a £50 rot box.

Engine prices have been high for years now; a complete 1275 engine with ancillaries for less than £1k is an increasing rarity. Places like Facebook Marketplace is likely a better place to advertise than on here.
