I have a 1994 Cooper SPI with Dim-Dip Relay and a 3AS immobiliser. Chassis No. 092458.
I want to replace my main wiring harness but there seems to various versions that contradict each other.

AutoSparks suggested AN184 - dim-dip, no alarm

Here are the alternatives:
Mini Spares YMC11986 - listed as dim-dip with alarm

Bull Motif QAN181 (YMC11986) - listed as dim-dip without alarm

AutoSparks AN185 - dim-dip with alarm (chassis no. 093926 - 098508)

Which loom do I need? The 3AS is currently bypassed, what is the impact of having alarm / no alarm?

Mine is the same as yours also with the alarm bypassed, neither the dim dip or alarm are essential so i would probably go with the an184 and add your own alarm as it dosent specify which alarm plug it has fitted, could be either the 3as or 5as.

It does say to contact them if your loom is not listed.

On another note does anyone else find the autosparks website a pain? its slow and jumps back 2 or 3 pages after viewing an item every time.
