I've never seen chrome trim round the glove box on an MPi.

My '98 JDM didn't originally have a chrome trim on the walnut dash glovebox but I sourced a couple of spare dashes, walnut and Sportspack versions and both have chrome trims. The trim is on the dashboard itself, not the glovebox lid.

I think it may only be fitted on non-OEM dashboards.

They did, LE, Cooper Sports, 500's had the trim.
My Cooper Sport has it.

I have virtually the same dashboard but without the black edging - did you fit that or did it come like that. Looks better finished than mine so need to do something similar!

The piping was standard OEM on the MPi.
Can be sourced from The Little Car Company in the Netherlands.
You will also need the plastic doodad that tucks inside.
