This sold in June for £18,750

https://www.carandcl...-1275-gt-8EGzWn

Now back up for sale for £17,500, but it is also on car and classic for £18,500 oddly

https://www.ebay.co....m/285549467983?

Doesn't appear to be a scam, but what do I know

Hmm, been watching this one on Ebay. Didn't realise it was back up for sale again!

There was another 1275gt on Ebay a month or so ago which went for £24k, 1275gt prices see to be on the increase especially for early 10" wheeled ones.

Cheers, Steve

I bid £18,000 for this when it was originally advertised on Car and Classic but was outbid, this was before I went on to purchase a Mini Cooper S, its strange its up for sale again at a lower price, plus the seller will have to pay a commision.

Ah ok, but no commission if selling as straight classified ad on car and classic

Apart from a few exceptional ones, prices for GTs seem to be on the slide again now from where they were a couple of years back. I bought mine as a restoration project during Covid times, and paid a fair price for it on that basis, but back then mint, and even far from mint, examples were being advertised (and presumably selling) for £25-30k and upwards. I'm still tracking sale prices fairly closely (mostly so that I don't go too bonkers with spending on my own project :D) - there was that insane barn find one that went for over £40k a few months back, but £15-20k seems to be the current bracket for good cars.

This very honest looking 1970 one went for £16450 recently for example (I think it had an estimate of only 4-5k!): https://www.swva.co....i-1275-gt-1970/ - I would have absolutely snapped it up at that price when I was looking for mine!
