Hello

This is me again with the funny questions :D

So I just dismantled the coolant pump and - if possible - I'll try to save it.

Do you know if a bearing unit is available anywhere as a spare part ?

I guess 88G446 is the pump seal but I have no hit for the bearing

I haven't seen them available as a spare part for probably 35 or 40 years.

Part No. 12A1802.

Thanks Moke

Some bearing manufacturers produce very similar bearings, this is the closest hit

Apart from the fun challenge, I would be surprised if this "rebuild" is financially worth it

unless you are determined to have a period correct restoration, I would dump it and get one of the newer aluminium ones with a larger impeller. To get the best flow possible

Price of the bearing is about 9 GBP. I can get it in 2 days from a local store

Bearind ID is 330902

From financial reasons view I would never ever touch a Mini  :D

Thanks for the link. I have to say, I hadn't considered looking for them and at least by re-bearinging on old pump, at least we know the quality of the bearing.

Just be sure the impellar and pump housing are in good order with little or no corrosion or pitting.
