Hello all, with the help of an experienced mate, my old mini fired up yesterday for first time in 6 years!
Had to share. In time I am going to have to buy some bits and pieces. Hoping there is a plentiful supply out there, cheers all.

Congratulations...

Well done. Sure you learned a lot about the mechanicals. Now keep the motivation going and break it down.

Suspension, bodywork, running gear, brakes, little bits at a time make the project easier.

Above all ... ENJOY....

Welcome aboard, it would be nice to see some pics of it uploaded on here. Good luck with getting it back on the road.

welcome to TMF , there is always a plentiful supply of new and used parts for minis , don't forget to subscribe for a TMF+ membership to get a very worthwhile discount from minispares .com , I always think of my mini as a full size technical lego kit but a lot easier to build !
