Embarrassing - Identify These Studs

Putting back together a race motor and didn't take enough photos. I'm guessing these are not OEM studs. I've looked all over the block, head, flywheel housing, etc. for corresponding holes but still scratching my head. They do not attach to the heater outlet (I have identified those). They are 1/4" with the same thread pitch on both ends.

 

Any help is appreciated. Hoping someone with lots of experience with these motors may be able to identify them. Thanks!

Those look like Block to Gearbox Studs. They did fit 2 in the factory, they go in the position of being over the Diff.

Or could be water take off on the head.
