Hello - I would appreciate help with the following:

 

I fitted a new set of NGK BPR6ES Spark Plugs with 0.6mm gap last year and I checked them today, however they seem to be burning too hot to me - see the attached photo or are these OK for my Mini?

It does look to me that your mixture might be a bit lean, which would make them burn hotter. I would like to see the centre electrodes a bit more of a lighter brown in colour

Meant to have said - the car idles fine and goes well and is quick from 0 to 100kph, therefore if it is a lean issue, I would have assumed the top end performance would be flat?

You can't (well not easily).

I'd guess that the SPI setup will run it leaner than what most would normally run but that is how it is by design.
