Hi All,
I have just purchased a Rover Mini Cooper Sport S-Works. I believe it's a genuine "sold from new" John Cooper Garage S-Works opposed to a conversion as the plaque states "Car No." rather than "Conversion No." and has the accessories which don't come with the conversion kit (pedals, step strips, etc).
I have a few questions, is there a way to tell if it's one of the last 50 John Cooper Garages vehicles? I've heard these are meant to be somewhat of a special edition in their own right, however I am unsure why.
It's going to need some TLC to get back up to scratch. Can anyone recommend a good (read as competent and cost friendly) bodyshop or someone who works from home in the Essex / Hertfordshire area?
Thanks in advance.

The Mini Cooper Register - has a 'Rover Cooper Registrar'
The Registrar is John Parnell who has lots of info which may help, his detailed research is often published in their excellent monthly 'CooperWorld' magazine:-
