So there's very few minis around the immediate area where I live. So I was chuffed to notice a lovely one parked on a driveway of a house a couple of streets over from me.

Chatting to a family member about it and they said I next time I'm passing in mine I should knock in to the house and say hello. But personally I'd probably feel a bit awkward and weird about rocking up like that...

Am I being stupid?

It depends, a bit, on where you live.

Round here, London, it might not play well.

If someone is out, by the car, you might try but door knocking is close to intrusive for some.

You could leave a note on the car, maybe.

drive by every now and then and if they're out the front polishing it, give them a beep see if they wave

if you get a positive response you just made a new friend happy days

Thanks for the feedback lads! Yeah it's a fairly friendly suburban area I live in so wouldn't expect too much hostility

Always meant to over the years, but just never got around to it! But just signed up for a membership there tonight - so thanks for the reminder! Will hopefully get around to doing the MTM at some point in the future

I've done a few MTM ( Mizin to Malin, Irelands furthest north to south in a day) over the years, always a good run. Recommend .
