Wanted Automatic oil filter housing been told i need to replace mine as leaking a lot. if any one has one they are willing to sell please get in touch. I have posted this on the Automatic mini register also

I assume you have changed the seal at both ends (the small one doesn't come with the filter so gets ignored). If that hasn't fixed it then yes the housing is likely damaged from over tightening.

Hi
I've has the sprite about 7 months now it was leaking a little when i got it, but now I've been told that i need to replace the housing altogether. I've had the oil changed twice since i got the car and it leaks a bit more each time.

Get some O rings, that seal the bolt end, at the same time so you know it's in good shape.
Don't overtighten the bolt, the correct torque is 19Nm.
