Hi all,

i’m looking at purchasing a mini and notice the air filter is missing and the throttle body looks different to how it should. Can anyone shed any light on this, as per the picture.

i assume the air intake is near the bulkhead, but never seen anything like this before, have you?

A standard MPi engine bay without filter.

There are many different throttle bodies available on the market all suggesting that they increase the horse power

Such as above.

Sure there will be some part numbers or history with the car.

That is a non-standard throttle body and injector set up.. some how still working on MEMS. The coil pack is also aftermarket. I'd be steering clear of that.
