There is also a letter here from Mike Cooper but the owner do not have the original letter, only a copy of it.

Interesting, but it doesn't prove much, as it doesn't mention the vehicles VIN or engine number.

 

I would ask the seller for the United Kingdom V5 document, as I mentioned in my other post, which should show it was registered H15 FUM on export, and show the vehicles VIN and engines numbers match the car.

 

Also in person, look at the VIN plate in the engine bay, and the hidden stamped VIN into the body the scuttle panel lip, roughly above the master cylinder, only visible with the bonnet open. As marked as a green line on this image below, not all sellers know its there
