Looking for a rolling road (one that will have a good understanding of SU carbs and a stash of alternative needles - and not the kind who'll say "where've they installed the computer port on this?")

Been waiting for Mosley's to get his dyno fixed, but that just doesn't seem to be happening.

Any recommendations, please?

You need to travel to John Nutt's at Goytre (just outside Pontypool) for exactly what you're looking for. He's just sorted my 1098 engine and also did 2 other minis we have in the household.

Speak to John or Gareth.

Took the car to Nutts for a morning session. Gareth and John worked some magic. New needle (hand-shaped) on the first visit. And, when that turned out to drive not-quite-right under some conditions (i.e. when towing at, ahem, certain speeds) they gave me a second morning of roller time free-of-charge while they re-shaped it. You couldn't get fairer than that.
