After stupidly selling my big power 1380 in my profile pic a few years ago(regretted it ever since),
I’ve finally bought another after looked for ages-came close to buying one a couple of times, but bought one today at last-
1330 ML motorsport engine with fast road cam, KAD 4 pot calipers, few marks on it but very solid and a lovely little thing, not as quick as my 1380 but definitely more usable, love it.
Heater not blowing hot, hot pipe on left side of car, pipe on right that goes to heater tap cold-air lock? Or heater matrix?
Great to be back in one again-looks so small next to my R53 Cooper S!

Air lock is very likely.

Turn heater on, pull return hose from engine, hold it up and back fill the hose. Put your thumb over the end and reconnect it sharpish.

If that doesn't fix it first time, give it a second try.

Cheers-just to be clear, return hose is heater tap end or water pump end? Sorry but it’s been a while!

The return will be the cold one.

Noticed today the oil pressure seems very high-70 ish at hot idle and 90 odd under any acceleration at all- I’ll speak to the engine builder tomorrow-it’s only done around a thousand miles since being built.
Other than that I love it-even the wife loves it, she hated my last one due to the cage and harness’s

I'm going to guess it's got a ball and spring instead of the normal conical job in the pressure relief valve, if you don't cut 1 coil off the spring that's exactly what sort of pressures you get.
