Mini (1971 clubman 1100cc )been sitting for 4months, last month I gave the battery a charge and she turned over after a few trys and ran fine for 4-5mins.

Today went down to start her and nothing, plenty of battery life/fuel in tank, removed the air filter and poured alittle fuel down,
she started up but only runs for 2seconds then shuts down.

I'm assuming, Its getting fuel as I remove the wee fuel bowl thingy that has the float in it and empty that out and went again,
reopened it to find it full of fuel again, so the fuel pump is working (also it was replaced about 4 years ago).

What's the next thing I should be looking for?

Also I'm not a mechanic, so please no crazy car terms, youtube has helped me alot.

Minis not even cracking over now, battery fully charged, not even a tick sound out of the engine bay.

I've had similar issue over the weekend.
Hif44 carb, had fuel sat in it for over 6 months. Got a splutter when trying to start, then absolutely nothing. After a lot of mucking about I decided to remove the carb and clean out the jet etc. There was fuel in the float chamber too. Started straight away after re-fitting.
Having said that, I've since drained all the old fuel and replaced fuel filters.
