Hi,

I have an 1993 SPi with an issue. My baby woke up today after hibernation, last ride was in Nov. 2023.

Everything works but the following:
- no interior light
- no indicator lights
- no hazard lights
- no indicator lights on the dash nor is the hazard light switch flashing
- can‘t hear the relais ticking

I‘m not even close being a pro, but I would like to learn more sbout the car, that‘s why I‘m looking for help.

Afaik, the fuse in the engine bay is ok, otherwise there would be no stop and reversing lights either?

Could you maybe help me?

Thank you

According to the wiring diagram in the pinned wiring diagrams thread at the top of this subforum, those items are fed from fuse LF1.  After winter storage it is quite possible for corrosion to set in either at the fuse contacts or where the cables attach to the fuse box, even if the fuse is still good.  Perhaps check those first.

Is it a 4 fuse box (on bulkhead) or a 24 blade type box (at drivers knee)?

Check the top fuse (if the glass fuse type in engine bay)

Check also the Inline fuse (10amp) on Purple/orange wire. Change the fuse check the wiring connections for corrosion.

I recently had issues where the indicators and heater would stop working randomly (fuses looked and tested fine!) changed the fuse box and all has been OK so far

Hi, it's a 4 fuse box in the engine bay!

I checked the fusesbox, seems ok. I checked the wiring connections, they looked fine.

After reading your answer and the wiring diagramm, I'm pretty sure that it's going to be an issue with the inline fuse.

Gonna check that on sunday.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I had this problem when I bought mine. The inline fuse looked OK, but eventually I discovered that the connection to it was rubbish and needed redoing.

In relation to the indicator issues, from experience I'd change the hazard light switch as it's a common cause of faults in the indicator/hazzard circuit. Id also check the yellow relays on the left side of the engine bay. I had a loose connection here which seemed to cause a fault with the indicators.
