Hi all,

I have looked at the needles and they say “6” how do I get a richer needle as it’s running at bit lean.

There’s literally hundreds of needles to choose from. If you have a number 6 it’s a fixed type and 0.090”

There’s many factors to getting the right needle, like engine size and spec, carb condition and wear, which air filters, etc.

Without a definite way to measure the fueling (like and air fuel ratio gauge) it’s complete guesswork as to if the engine is lean or rich and where in the rpm and load range it needs fixing.

If you use a comparison website like minty lamb, classic mini diy or similar you can look up the needle stations of other needles and find others that may suit.
