I was with Lancaster for ages on my MG but switched to autonet a few years ago. It was the same policy as Lancaster but their fees were lower.

The comparison sites have started supporting classics now so it's worth giving them a try and see what prices you get back

Update. Lancaster would only go to £196 due to the insurance company I used last year not accepting any more policies and couldn't find a suitable one... I've found sterling for £103 with the added 13 modifications.

Anyone had any claims with those companies? Let's be honest, they're all going to be as good as each other until you need to claim.

I'm with Adrian Flux for both Mini's, both are around £100 pounds each, they matched performance directs price and the agreed values for both Minis are what I asked for. I made a claim with Adrian Flux a few years ago, they allowed me to use my preferred repairer (Ben at Mill Road) and dealt with him direct regarding quotation/payment.

I'm with Adrian Flux for all 4 cars, been with them for years, always been good and easy to negotiate when renewals come around. not had to claim anything yet.
Agreed value no issues, reduced mileage lowers price a bit.

Yes. Flux. Legal battle to get money back from a non-fault claim. Cheap does not mean better.

another for flux had a total loss claim years ago no issues also non fault accident with other halfs car they let me do reps. due to modified and paid my labour. been with cheaper insurance before when a dialy driver had car written off after steering lock broken and car stolen/recovered (LE mini worth 3K!), will always get specialist classic policies from now on
