The person I acquired it from had it sat under his workbench for around 20 years and I have had it kept in a plastic storage box for 22 years in my garage before actually getting around to sorting it out.
The block code is 9F SA Y 49513 which I believe to be a 1275 S. I think the crank is modified, there are 2 cams both without codes to identify. The head was missing but the valves, lifters, conrods and many other parts were present. Along with a brand new set of AE pistons from around the 80’s with I think a +40 thou increase.
There were also 2 sets of twin carbs a many other associated parts that had been removed. All parts were received by me disassembled an I am struggling to work out what I have and what to do with it.
I have been an enthusiast for many years but have only owned complete cars. This engine if good, needs to find a proper home. When I can post some pictures I will and have plenty.
I would really appreciate anybody’s input.
Kind regards, Darren

Don't let anyone on here low ball you either if you come to sell.. as Cooperman says, worth a bit.

I'd say with an eBay sale you would get market value/what people are willing to pay rather than taking an offer.
Do you have facilities to measure crank journals/bores ?
If they are standard sizes the price will rocket up again. 👍
