Hi, I'm cheap and I'm going to make the tool to press a new oil seal.

I imagine some of you have this tool, would you kindly tell me the dimensions A, B, C, and D?

Much appreciated.

I have never used the tool to fit new oil seals (I am even cheaper than you!) and usually wrap the spline in masking tape and tap the new seal on gently with a large soft drift making sure it goes in square (take it slowly) and I have never had any seal issues.

mine measures as follows:

A = 58.9mm

B = 69.5mm

C = 75mm

D = 1.7mm

also worth noting that the outer edge of the shoulder (B dimension) has a chamfered edge - presumably to aid centering into the clutch seal housing bore

Thank you KTS! I'm going to 3D print it. I know the job can be done without the tool, but it will be safer this way.

WoW, you have a library of 3D files here? Impressive!

It is an easy design to make but I'll check out the existing model.

Thanks!
