Ive found rust and dirt in my water tank 🙄

So here's how I'm going to attempt it,

While engines cold, remove bottom hose from rad drain collant,

reconnect bottom hose,

fill with tap water and Radiator detergent

Start engine for ten minutes, heater on hot blower, expansion tank pressure cap off

Let engine cool down to cold and empty out tap water/detergent via bottom hose

then run an garden hose through expansion tank to clear detergent till water runs clear

Reconnect bottom hose and add 50/50 mix of rover OAT pink coolant and deionized water? ... I have no distilled water

Run engine with preaure cap off, burp air bubbles out till gone with the hot air heater on?

Advice needed as this is my first attempt doing an coolant flush

You're kinda there. Drain it, fill it back up with water and add a dishwasher tablet in the expansion tank. Run the engine for about 50 miles and then drain.
You need to reverse flush the engine, so remove the hose going from the stat housing to the heater matrix and put a garden hose in to push it back towards the housing. Remove the radiator top hose, put the expansion tank cap on and turn the tap on. Run until it is all clear. Replace with OAT and water 50:50 mix, do not fill to the max line in the expansion tank.
