[Hipsway]

Well the 1980 GT is mine, various bits are stacked up in the garage. The shell is at the body shop being repaired and painted.

Slowly working through what bits I do have and what I don’t. And so far, there’s more don’t haves than do haves!! But I expected that.

Thanks for all the advice and feedback. Don’t believe the engine is original, it’s series A, but looks like a reconditioned one - fingers crossed the crankshaft isn’t going to be an issue.

Post some pictures up of the car when you get a chance. I wouldn't worry about the engine these were replaced multiple times during the life of most GT Minis. I went through three and a gearbox over 18 months back in the day :)
