I'm not into AI but here is a test you guys who are can try out, ' who or where was Kevlar invented?

Shooter

At DuPont by Stephanie Kwolek.

You really don't need ChatGPT to find that out though.

In that case ChatGPT is as wrong as the Internet then, just as I've always thought with anything to do with computers ' crap in crap out'

Is this one of those things though where you're like the computer was invented by Turing, well no really it was Babbage, well if you think about it really it was Jacquard . It depends how you define 'computer'

So who invented kevlar, the person who discovered the fibres by accident or the person who actually first used it in a certain way, or what..

Intrigued to know now .. do go on

This is actually quite hard for me to do as I had to sign a certain piece of paper at the time, but I think I'll be OK if I say check through history for a 3.75 billion loan and be prepared to spend a fair amount of time following the bread crumbs.

I make sewing threads for a living so I find the origins of these materials quite interesting! Kevlar is made by DuPont but is defined generically as an aramid fibre, of course the origin and invention of aramids may be different to the claims made by DuPont about Kevlar. Not dissimilar to the folklore stories about the invention of Nylon.

I asked Chatgtp who ‘shooter63’ was, its response was that it was classified information and that he was being investigated by British intelligence agencies regarding a breach of the OSA. It also mentioned being a ‘walt’, whatever that means. I would have asked but I also signed the OSA many years ago and I don’t want a knock on my door at 2am.
