Hi all.

MOT due on monday so got the mini out for the first time this year. Naughty I know but been so busy with other things.

It wants a little bit of choke to idle.

Its a 1275 Ive converted but running the old 998 HS4. I know its not set up for it but is there something I can do to get it to idle without choke, such as richen it up? increase idle etc?

Thanks Mike.

If it's cold it will need choke.

If it runs ok otherwise when hot but needs choke to stay running at idle, then try richening it up a little with the jet screw.

Ive done that, slightly tweaked the idle screw too and much better now. Thank you for your help.

It was well warmed up. All sorted now.

If it's cold it will need choke.

If it only needs a smidge of choke then it is only needing a little more idle. Adjust the normal idle screw until its happy.
