Hello everyone.

I need to buy a new heat shield for my Rover Mini, Spi, 1992. How can I buy or make one?

Thank you very much.

P.S. I believe that the function of this part is a heat shield, right?

No longer available but if you search on eBay for aluminium embossed heat shield you should find a decent alternative you can cut to size.

It sure is!

Even with a good heat shield, the heat from the catalytic converter is capable of getting the handbrake lever hot to the touch.

I hate to think what it would be like without one!

Carpet-smouldering, I would guess.
