how old are u bloomer and wats the insurance like with the rollcage n wheels as im in the prosses of building a mini n have been told to leave it standard but am not sure what to do am 16 n have a standard mini with no welding or any thing to do but want it to be classic street racer any advice appreciated

Ah thanks mate. Erm rollcage is a bit of a bummer. But i really want it, so will have to pay. Basically you will have trouble going on a standard insurer. e.g. Direct line or someone like that. You will be better off going with a specialist company. Unless you really want one, I wouldn't bother, But If you are like me, and it looks the nipples, then do it. Its safe aswell incase you spank it. I think adrian Flux does something like you take pictures of the inside of the car, and state all the bits used, and they quote you on it. Not sure though..Someone else back me?

Right! hello, I'm still here! Got the mini to fire-up. But there is a problem with fueling, Im going to rebuild the carb and take it from there. Also need to fit the rest of the exhaust and pop the air filter on. Then bulbs and interior bits. And then the dredded MOT!!!

Hi guys. Not really any pictures as such yet. Camera is broken and dixens are shiote at fixing stuff...so just waiting for that back.
Just a little list of whats happened to her. Rear hi-los have gone on, along with those beautiful avo shocks. Fronts are awaiting two replacement knuckle joints untill I fit them, Along with a front set of avo shocks...Lovely. Neg camber arms to go on the back aswell.
Exhaust is on its way(hopefully soon If I have the money!) Went to minispares on a road trip with AndyWaller and got the exhaust hanging kit. Arches are nearly ready to spray as I messed the last spray up!!
Also, Will have some more pictures up of the mini i found before i started work on her. And will have some of the mini now when the camera is fixed!

You havent heard from me in a while, But im still going at it! Just got a new exhaust system to give it more back pressure. Got it running now!
Fitted the Neg camber arms, Hi-los on the back, Fronts are going on soon AVO shocks are on all around. Painted underside and sills.

Tell me what you think.

Mopping the car again soon, so will get pictures of paint finished off.

Video for you now! Its running, Just a bit lean atm. Anything anyone else notices...also, it sounds like it idling a bit high even though i haven't got the idle screwed down at all... Any ideas?
