Worryingly - I like it
How hard to put a small quad engine in there
so the range & speed are more & won't catch fire .
and it still looks better than a fat BINI
I would love a pickup version (with engine)

I wonder if BMW will approve....?!
"The Shandong TC-T is a retro-themed five-door electric hatchback available in China for £2,530. The Chinese car shares a number of styling cues from the 1959 original Mini....including a trapezoid-shaped grille, circular headlights, and even a set of chrome-effect bumpers. Featuring a 72-volt 3.5kW electric motor and a 120ah lithium battery pack, the Shandong Keyu TC-T has similar capabilities to a quadricycle like a Citroen Ami or Microlino bubble car. Shandong Keyu state it can cover a total distance of 62 miles per charge. The model's top speed has been limited to just 45kph (28mph), meaning it can only be used in towns and cities.
A small number of Chinese brands make unusual vehicles inspired by western models at particularly low prices. These vehicles have gained the nickname 'Old Man's Joy' in China, with many being bought by older drivers who want something that looks like an expensive car on a limited budget. Whilst these cars are often available for very low prices, a number of motoring experts in the country have criticised them for their lack of safety features, with the vehicles being banned in a number of cities."

They both clearly infringe copyright, patents, registered designs etc, but I doubt BMW or Land Rover can be arsed, as China does pretty much what it wants and at a couple of thousand dollars, arenāt making millions, yetā¦

I hadn't seen it but then I clicked on the link for Ali Express - does that mean in theory someone could actually buy one and have it shipped to the UK?
The text shows c.2250 for the car plus c.950 delivery plus c.450 estimated tax (import duty on the 2250?) so in theory around £3650
Go on, please, someone do it.......
Not sure how you'd go on registering it and I expect it would need some sort of IVA/SVA/whatever test to get a reg
