New here but have had my 1965 Austin 850 since 1974 when i bought it when 15 years old  as a wreck drive on ice. Was living still in Finland then. Renovated first time 1975 and took my driving license with it in 1976. 1979 i moved to Gothenburg, Sweden, and took the mini with me. It has been standing in garage now for some 25 years but now i am retired and decided to renovate it again.
So standard MK1 850 to start with. Following was modified in the 80:s. Allegro 1275 engine/gearbox with Longman full race head, Kent 286 cam, LCB, Dellorto DHLA 45...
Metro Turbo front brakes, modified to fit 10" wheels, rear Minifins and 1" longer rear axles with 1" spacers between the swing arms and brake shields. MOT:d with metro Turbos trackwitdth.
Not much welding needed but a long time ago i cutted the rear for MK2 rear lamps so the small lamps has to go back.
Red from factory, 1975 painted in dark green metallic, 1983 painted red with white roof. Think it will be like pimprose yellow with black roof and wheel arches this time.
Seems this forum is still somewhart active so hope i can send questions when i need help from more knowledgeable people.

Not sure the link below with picture works!

I seem to remember the two big Mini clubs in Sweden have merged.

The use res on the Doghouse page are of the older generation and there are few BINIS.

Welcome!
There is people with extensive mini knowledge within Sweden and certainly in the Gothenburg area. However, no alive forum like this. I don't know if there is on any other active social media platform.

Thanks. Yes the clubs merged. Been member in Mini Club Sweden since 80:s and kept my old member number in the merge. No really active forum whitch is sad, "hundkoja" FB seems to be quite active but not really a knowledge base.
